Like Kismet and
Anastasia, Kiril combines traditional Macedonian instruments
with modern influences. Like Kismet,Kiril comes via Australia
and will be touring Europe with Kismet later in 1997.
Kiril's
Synthetic Theatre is a CDEP taster for a forthcoming full-length
album. It features a very imaginative and successful mix of
traditional-sounding female vocals and exotic riffs with house
and touches of jazz. And it's very exciting!
Synthetic
Theatre is released by Avant Garde Records, an independent
label from Melbourne.
